Your Best Medicine: A Wonderful Holiday Present at a Very Reasonable Price

There is absolutely no doubt. The United States is in the midst of a very serious economic crisis. Still, we are only weeks away from the holidays. May I suggest that you consider Your Best Medicine, a book I co-wrote, which was published about six months ago by the much acclaimed publisher Rodale.

Although the hardback book retails for $31.95, the entire Rodale site is now having a sale. Everything is half price. So, you can purchase this book, which is over 600 pages, for an incredibly reasonable price.

Here’s what the well-known vegetarian/vegan chef and Emmy-Award-winning TV celebrity Christina Pirello wrote about the book in her newsletter:

As you would expect from the people at Rodale, this book is amazing. Beginning with ‘The Basics of Good Health,’ a comprehensive section on how best to become an active steward of your own personal well-being, the rest of the book is a veritable laundry list of the 80 top health concerns that plague America and how to treat them. Integrative in its approach, Your Best Medicine includes conventional wisdom right alongside alternative therapies and modalities. It cuts through the mythology of what works and what doesn’t and takes alternative treatments out of the fringe and into the mainstream with an approachable expertise I have rarely seen. And the best part? This book gives readers such comprehensive, easy to understand information that they are able to customize their own treatment options based on accurate information.

This book is invaluable to anyone who wants to take control of their health and well-being, anyone who wants to understand the human body and anyone who wants to be able to make informed decisions about their health…so I guess that would be pretty much everybody. I know it will be well-used in my work for a very long time … and I highly recommend it.

Christina then notes that the book is “the perfect holiday gift for the health-conscious person in your life.”
