Hoping to spread the word about organic living, Judy Pezdir and Jill Palermo, a mother/daughter team, founded I’m Organic, Inc. in 2006.
Judy and Jill are both artists and entrepreneurs. They’re excited to have created an opportunity to bring all of their passions together in a business that is an expression of what they value.
It was during the summer of 2002, when Jill lived in an eco-village in the mountains of Oregon, that she first learned about living organically.
There, she learned to grow organic produce and flowers, take care of llamas, and to live in harmony with the land. Jill couldn’t have anticipated the sheer joy of experiencing where food comes from and what it feels like to live in a relatively toxin-free environment.
Meanwhile, Judy had also been altering her lifestyle.
Judy had been gradually taking additives and chemicals out of her lifestyle for years and experienced drastic health improvements at the same time. Each in their own ways, Jill and Judy felt a passion for sharing with friends and family a lifestyle that was better for them and better for the planet. It was only natural that I’m Organic, Inc. was founded along the way.
I’m Organic, Inc. sells a wide variety of items including organic clothing for just about everyone — even kids and the family dog, onsies, totes, lunch bags, bio-degradable mugs, and 100% post consumer waste recycled greeting cards.
As part of the cycle of abundance choosing organic creates, we gift a portion of all profits to organizations with sustainable education programs and who help people get their hands back in the dirt.
