Green World Bags: Reusable Bags

For years, cashiers have been asking, “Paper or Plastic.” Just about always, I would answer “Paper.” But, those days are long gone – at least where I shop. Now, I am asked, “Did you bring your own bag?” I am sad to admit that I all too often forget. We all need to do what Julia Roberts told Oprah she does, just carry the bags with us in our cars. But, first we need to buy bags, such as those sold at Green World Bags. They are “sustainable, eco-friendly and reusable.”

We’ve made it simple. Consumers want great looking bags that do not have some grocery market logo on them. Nor do they want bags that flop around and spill their contents all over their trunks. Our bags combine fashion and function. They are shaped and constructed like a brown paper grocery bag. Why? Because this design has worked for decades. A set of four bags includes a handy storage envelope that emphasizes convenience and encourages the routine use of reusable bags. What’s more, our bags boast beautiful silk-screened prints, making them great for retail shopping too…. Green World Bags are made to withstand more than a year of weekly usage and will hold the equivalent of two or three plastic bags. This translates to an annual reduction of approximately 700 bags for the average family. When they finally wear out, they can be recycled.

Green World Bags

Green World Bags are made of non-woven material that is water, soil and odor resistant. When dirty, they made be easily whipped clean with a cloth and water. The bags are 12 by 14 by 6, and they have reinforced straps. There is a durable plastic liner on the bottom for increased stability.

Our favorite charity is One Percent for the Planet.

  1. Hello Myrna:re-
A couple of months ago you reviewed our re-usable pshopping bags on your blog. At that time, we exchanged links with you. We will soon have a new line of bags coming out of production. The manufacturing techniques, construction and silk screen designs have been kicked up a notch and we’d be interested in your feedback. If you are interested in helping us, I will send you a sample.

    Thanks,
    Trudy
