Several years ago, my husband and I purchased an ultra-efficient, front-loading Asko washing machine. Made in Sweden, it uses far less water and electricity than most washers; it also requires a low-sudsing laundry detergent. That is when I found Planet Ultra Powdered Laundry Detergent.
