Years ago, newlyweds Jennifer Melton, the marketing director for a clothing company, and Brennan Johnson, a structural engineer, adopted a shelter puppy, Samantha. Much to the chagrin of the couple, finicky eater Samantha had food allergies and a sensitive stomach. Unable to find a suitable commercially available treat, Melton began making treats at home. In time, Melton and Johnson founded Cloud Star.
Cloud Star sells holistic baked kibble and a wide variety of Buddy Biscuits. In addition, it offers grooming products for dogs and dog and human apparel.
Cloud Star is a member of 1% FOR THE PLANET and pledges at least 1% of SALES to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment. Cloud Star supports humane education throughout the United States in addition to donating a portion of profits to our furry friends in the animal shelters.
